Questions people ask us
What is Prayers Academy?
A daily companion for prayer and Bible study. Each day you get a short plan (a devotional, a verse, a reflection, a prayer and a quick quiz), and you can go deeper with study plans, the seven archetype journeys, guided meditations and a Bible reader.
Do I need to know the Bible well to start?
No. The daily plan explains each passage in plain language and never assumes you know where to look. People who have read the Bible for decades use it too, mostly for the rhythm and the reflection questions.
Which languages is it available in?
English, Spanish and Portuguese. The app follows the language you chose when you signed up, and you can change it in your profile.
How do I log in?
Tap Log in and use the email you signed up with. If you don’t remember your password, reset it here and we’ll email you a link.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel right in the app: log in, tap your profile picture in the top right corner, open Settings (the gear icon), choose Plan and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also email support@prayers.academy from the address on your account and our team will cancel it for you. The details are in our subscription terms.
Is this a replacement for church or counseling?
No. Prayers Academy is a daily practice, not a church and not a counselor. We hope it sends you back to your community with more to bring, and if you are carrying something heavy, please talk to a pastor, a doctor or a licensed counselor as well.
